As a senior (2015-16)
• Swam in four dual meets during his senior season.
• Placed in the top 10 in three events at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational (200 and 500 free and 100 back).
• Had a top five finish at the Binghamton Open in the 200 back.
As a junior (2014-15)
• Competed in four dual meets and the Bomber Invitational as a freshman.
• Swam the sprint free and back events during the season.
• His top finish was a second in the 200 free against Brown.
• Had the team’s third-fastest in the 200 back, the fourth-fastest in the 100 back and the fifth-fastest in both the 200 and 500 free.
As a sophomore (2013-14)
• Walker showed great signs in 2013-14 as his middle distance freestyle improved and contributed in the dual meet season.
As a freshman (2012-13)
• He added depth to the Big Red in his rookie season of 2012-13 in both the middle distance freestyle and backstroke events.
• With continued hard work, the team is looking for good things from Walker over his final two seasons.
Prior to Cornell
• A three-time high school All-American at Carroll Senior HS, Walker’s team won a pair of state titles and finished as runner-up once.
• He was a four-time all-state, all-region and all-district selection.
• Walker was elected team captain twice and lettered all four varsity seasons.
• He most recently competed for the Dallas Mustangs club team.
• Walker was a two-year member of the water polo team, lettering twice and helping the squad to a pair of district titles and regional runner-up finishes.
Personal
• Ryan Kent Walker is the son of Eric and Cindy Walker and has a younger brother.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
