2023-24 | JUNIOR SEASON
NCAA Zone A Qualifier ... finished 28th overall in the 1-meter and 32nd in the 3-meter at NCAA Zones ... participated in nine meets, including the 2024 Zippy Invitational and Ivy League Championship ...  opened season by sweeping gold in both the one-meter (season-high 321.23 points) and three-meter dives (335.33 points) against Binghamton ... followed that up with silver in the one-meter and three-meter against St. Bonaventure ... grabbed the top spot in the one-meter at the Zippy Invitational with 336.15 points and second in the three-meter, scoring 275.85 points ... earned silver in both events at Columbia ... closed regular season by scoring his best in the three-meter dive with 340.73 to take home gold against Brown ... named CSC Academic All-District.

2022-23 l SOPHOMORE SEASON
NCAA Zone B Qualifier ... finished 37th overall in the 1-meter dive at NCAA Zones ... participated in seven meets for the Big Red as well as the Zippy Invitational ... took home a second-place finish against St. Bonaventure in the three-meter dive ... scored 285.10 points in the one-meter dive against Princeton, good enough for third ... brought in four points for Cornell against Yale in the one-meter dive ... posted a score of 313.28 in the three-meter dive against Columbia, securing third ... earned five points against Brown, finishing second and fifth in the one-meter and three-meter dive respectively ... finished third in both the one-meter and three-meter dives at the Zippy Invitational.

2021-22 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed in all 8 meets for Cornell his freshman year as well as bringing home some points at the Ivy league Championship ... finished first against St. Bonaventure in the 1-meter dive with a total score of 286.73 ... placed fifth overall with a score of 258.40 at the Zippy Invitational in the 3-meter dive as well as fourth overall in the 1-meter dive with a score of 281.30 ... secured a third-place finish against Brown in the 1-meter dive ... outright won the 1-meter dive competition against Binghamton with a final score of 287.40, his highest finish of the season ... also against Binghamton, Kim finished third in the 3-meter dive ... took home 11 points for the Big Red at the Ivy League Championship when he finished 16th in the 1-meter dive with a score of 247.70.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
National qualifier (2016) with club team Legacy Diving ... three-time zone qualifier (2016, 2018, 2019) ... four-time regional qualifier (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) ... four year varsity diving member at Rochester Adams HS ... undefeated across all-dual meets ... four-time team MVP ... named captain in his senior season.

PERSONAL
Soodong Kim is the son of Ji-Eun Lee and Kyoung-Tae Kim, he has one sister ... enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
