At Cornell
Junior Steven Kwartler had the team's second-best time in the 100 breaststroke last year, and his 56.49 in the event was good enough for sixth all-time in the Big Red's record books. In addition he had the team's third best time in the 50 freestyle in 2009-10, winning in that event vs. Brown and also taking a first place showing in the 100 breaststroke vs. Colgate.
At Chenango Forks
Kwartler was a varsity letter winner in swimming at Chenango Forks HS.

Steven M. Kwartler is the son of Michael and Victoria Kwartler. He is enrolled in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
