At Cornell
Scott has shown great improvement during his two years at Cornell. He was a big contributor to team points at the 2012 Ivy Championship meet. A suprise breakthrough swim in his 500 free made for a solid third event at the end of his sophomore year. Look for Scott to take it to the next level during his junior year as he will be a key leader on the team in both freestyle and butterfly events.

Prior to Cornell
Scott was the 2010 New Jersey state champion in the 200 free and 100 butterfly as a senior at Columbia HS. A three-year first-team all-county and two-year team captain, he was named the Essex County Swimmer of the Year as a senior. Scott was named second-team all-state as a junior. He was part of the record-setting 200 medley relay squad that established a New Jersey mark while swimming for the Jersey Gators club team.

Personal
Henry McKean Scott in the son of Phil and Lindsay Scott and has a brother and two sisters. His sister, Charlotte, swam at William Smith, while his brother, Ned, swims at Bates. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
