At Cornell
Satterthwaite continued his trend from last season, swimming more personal best times and becoming a key relay contributor. He was a member of three relays at championships and scored in all three of his individual events. Satterthwaite was also voted by his peers to lead the team during the 2014-15 season as co-captain. He has shown exceptional improvements over his first two seasons at Cornell. After not making the championship lineup as a freshman, Satterthwaite not only made the team his sophomore year, he was also a member of both the 200 and 400 yard freestyle relays. Satterthwaite posted personal best times in the 50, 100 and 200 free races. He had a solid freshmen season which was highlighted by a breakthrough meet against Brown. Satterthwaite went a best time in his 100 free, and was a key leg on a very exciting 4x100 free relay at that dual meet.

Prior to Cornell
Satterthwaite was an all-section, all-state, and All-American selection at Edina HS. He was a four-time letter winner, earning one individual state championship and three more as a member of a relay. He also served as captain and helped his team to three straight state championships from 2008-10.

Personal
Tim Allen Satterthwaite is the son of Tony ’82 and Ann Satterthwaite and has an older brother, Chris, who is a member of the swimming team at Harvard, as well as a younger brother, and a younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
