As a senior (2017-18)
• Graduated ranked in the top four all-time at Cornell in the 200 IM (No. 2, 1:47.53). the 200 fly (No. 3, 1:46.92) and the 100 fly (No. 4, 48.01).
• Took 12th in the 200 fly and 13th in the 100 fly at the Ivy League Championship.
• Swam the third leg of the 400 medley relay that posted the second-fastest time in school history, taking fourth overall at the Ivies.
• Made an NCAA cut time in the 200 IM with the second-fastest time in Cornell history.
• Won the 200 fly in a dual meet against Yale among three top three race finishes on the day.
• Made his first Ivy League relay team as a senior.
• Earned the team's Overall Achievement Award.

As a junior (2016-17)
• Scored for the Big Red in the 100 and 200 butterfly and the 200 IM at the Ivy League Championships.
• Had the team's fastest swims of the season in the 200 IM and the 200 fly.
• Finished 11th overall in the 200 fly, posting an NCAA B cut time of 1:47.57.
• His 200 IM time was a career best and placed him 15th overall with an NCAA B time of 1:48.52.
• Posted eight top three finishes in meets, including winning both the 200 fly and 200 IM against Columbia.
• Won the 200 fly at the Akron Zippy Invitational in an NCAA B cut time of 1:47.21.

As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Scored for the Big Red in the 200 fly (12th, 1:47.82), the 200 IM (22nd, 1:50.10), and 400 IM (22nd, 3:59.57).
• Posted the seventh-fastest time in school history in the 200 IM.
• Won the 200 fly at the Binghamton dual meet and the 200 free against Colgate.
• Won the 200 fly and 200 IM at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational and was the runner-up in the 100 IM and 400 IM.
• Had the team’s second-fastest time of the season in both the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 fly.

As a freshman (2014-15)
• Finished ninth at the Ivy meet in the 200 fly, posting an NCAA B cut time of 1:46.92, the third-fastest time in school history.
• Also competed in the 100 fly and 200 IM at the championship meet.
• Won the 200 fly in a dual meet against Brown.
• Had nine top three finishes in individual dual meets during the season.
• Posted the team’s fastest time in the 200 fly during the season and the fourth-fastest in the 100 fly.

Prior to Cornell
• A three time Flemish champion, five-time vice-Belgian champion and seven-time vice-Flemish champion, Declercq competed in the butterfly and the individual medley while attending Heilige Maagd College.
• A three-time provincial record-holder, Declercq was the club and school’s team MVP and captain.

Personal
• Vincent Jan Declercq is the son of Hugo Declercq and Ingrid Capiau and has two older sisters and an older brother.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
