As a freshman (2018-19)
• Swam in four meets.
• Finished sixth in the 50 free against St. Bonaventure.
Prior to Cornell
• Mosalam set nine school records while attending Bentley Upper School.
• Three-time team MVP.
• Elected captain for his senior season.
• Earned the Coaches Choice Award.
• He also competed in cross country.
• Twice given the Outstanding Swimmer Award while competing for the Albany Armada Aquatics club team.
Personal
• Ziad Khalid Mosalam is the son of Khalid Mosalam and Doaa Hagar and has a younger sister.
• His father earned a PhD at Cornell.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
