2010-11
Gauthier was a three-time first-team All-Ivy selection, becoming the first Cornell player to be named first-team in singles play in consecutive seasons since Dave Merrit (1983, '84, '85). The senior played predominantly at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spot, posting a 5-2 record in Ivy play and going 13-10 during the spring regular dual match season. He helped Cornell to its first-ever Ivy League title and NCAA tournament appearance. Against Louisville at the NCAA tournament, Gauthier dropped the first set, but battled back with a 6-3 win in the second set and was leading the third, 4-3, when the match was clinched with the Cardinals' victory at No. 2. As a junior, Gauthier became Cornell’s first first-team All-Ivy selection in singles since Brett McKeon was honored in 2006. He played predominantly at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spot and posted a 4-3 record in Ivy play and was 18-7 during the spring dual match season. Gauthier was also a unanimous first-team All-Ivy selection in doubles, with his partner Jeremy Feldman. As a tandem, Gauthier and Feldman were the conference’s top doubles team with a perfect 7-0 Ivy League record and a stellar 17-5 spring dual match record at the No. 1 slot. As a sophomore, Guathier
emerged as one of the best doubles players in the Ivy League during the 2009 spring season. His 11-4 record and 5-2 Ivy League record were good enough to earn him an All-Ivy post season honor. Gauthier was also 12-5 last year in singles, including a 6-0 record at the No. 6 position for the Big Red.

2009-10
Gauthier became Cornell’s first first-team All-Ivy selection in singles since Brett McKeon was honored in 2006. As a junior, he played predominantly at the No. 1 slot.

2008- 09
Gauthier emerged as one of the best doubles players in the Ivy League during the 2009 spring season. His 11-4 record and 5-2 Ivy League record were good enough to earn him an All-Ivy post season honor. Gauthier was also 12-5 last year in singles, including a 6-0 record at the No. 6 position for the Big Red. At the Cornell Invitational during the fall, he won the B flight in singles, as well as pairing with Feldman to win the doubles championship.

2007-08
As a freshman, Gauthier completed his first spring season with a winning record, going 4-2 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles. In his first college match against Niagara, he picked up a win at No. 6 singles to help Cornell to a victory. One of the best athletes on the team, he made the semifinals in B singles at both Cornell tournaments, losing a tough 6-4,4-6,6-4 match to Middlebury in the fall outdoor and a 2-6,6-3,7-6(3) loss to Buffalo at the fall indoor.

At Pioneer
A four-time all-state performer at Ann Arbor Pioneer HS, Gauthier was a Michigan state high school tennis champion in 2006 and a finalist in 2007. He earned a No 12 ranking in the Midwest and No. 131 nationally.
