Biography

At Cornell: Competing solidly in four events, Neuman had a workman-like fall. After going 1-1 at both the Cornell Fall Invitational and the Yale Invitational, he won a big match for the Red at the ECAC championships over Princeton. At the regional championships, Neuman won his first-round match, but fell in the second round. Last spring, he was 16-9 in singles, with wins over Penn and Brown, and was 4-2 in doubles with Scott Paltrowitz. A solid volleyer, Neuman is an aggressive player who is constantly moving forward. He can also attack with a great inside-out forehand. He is a student in the School of Hotel Administration.

At Winchester/St. John[apos]s: Neuman attended Winchester College and St. John[apos]s Prep School, where he played five years of basketball and two seasons of soccer and cricket. He was ranked No. 1 in Devon as a junior.
