At Cornell
Brilhante did not appear in any collegiate matches, but he was a four-time letter winner for serving as the team manager.
Prior to Cornell
Brilhante joins the Big Red after winning the Big Island Interscholastic Federation title in 2013 and rising to the No. 1 spot in the USTA Hawaii Pacific Region rankings. He served as a captain at Waiakea HS for three seasons and finished third in the 2013 Hawaii High School Athletic Association tournament. Brilhante was also his class' valedictorian, a two-time member of the National Honor Society, and the president of the Math League and Science Bowl in 2013.
Personal
Isaiah Kahai Brilhante is the son of William and Tamara Brilhante, and he has two younger sisters. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
