Biography
Sophomore Season — 2012-13Fiaux appeared in his first two collegiate dual matches in the spring, competing with junior Venkat Iyer at the No. 1 doubles position in matches against Penn State and George Washington. ... Fiaux also competed in the Cornell Fall Invitational in October at Reis Tennis Center. He was 1-2 in singles matches, defeating Colgate's John Beam in three sets in the White consolation bracket. He also teamed with classmate Andro Zunic to win two of their three matches in the 'A' doubles bracket of the same tournament.
Freshman Season — 2011-12Fiaux has yet to make his collegiate debut.
Prior to CornellFiaux competed for five years in his home country of Switzerland. He was a two-time Zurich District champion (2003, 2007) and finished in second four times (2002, 2004, 2005, 2008). Fiaux was ranked as high as the No. 78 player in Switzerland in 2010.
PersonalPatrick Christian Fiaux is the son of Michel Fiaux and Lise Fiaux-Kruse. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
