Biography
At Cornell: Voted last season’s most improved player, Nichols is one of the fittest members on the team. He has a fantastic work ethic and commitment to the squad. Nichols went 13-7 last year in singles and 12-14 in doubles. Playing No. 1 doubles last fall with Kyle Doppelt, they clinched the doubles point vs. Boston College at the ECAC championships. Nichols has a huge serve and penetrating volleys and is always looking to poach and help out his partner. He has worked hard on backcourt consistency and returns. Nichols will be expected to lead the team in doubles and to be ready to compete in the singles lineup. He is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Engineering. At Flint Hill: A four-year letter winner, Nichols is a graduate of Flint Hill HS. Personal: Weston Agnew Nichols is the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Nichols and has one younger brother.
