Biography
At Cornell: After a frustrating first two years, Aldo had a breakout junior season at Cornell and shined when he was thrust into the role of being the leader of the young and talented mid-distance group. A 1:53 performer in the 800 in his first two years at Cornell, Aldo improved greatly and ended the year as a Heps scorer and an NCAA regional qualifier with a 1:50.93 personal best. He also led Cornell[apos]s 4x800 team to All-East honors at the IC4A championships with a 7:33.88 clocking. A strong fall season of cross country training enabled Aldo to have the strength and stamina to stay injury free for the first time in his career. As a senior, Aldo will look to improve even more and push himself and the mid-distance group to new heights as school records in the 4x800, distance medley and open 800 are there for the taking.
