2002-03 Men's Track and Field Roster
Biography
At Cornell: Kenan has a lot of potential and could become one of the best sprinters ever at Cornell and in the Ivy League. An All-Ivy selection and school record holder as a member of the record-setting 4x400 team of 2003, Kenan has shown that he can really sprint. For the second year in a row, he had his outdoor season cut short by an injury. Not really getting serious about track until the middle of his freshman year, Goggins has shown glimpses of brilliance and has bests in the 100 (10.82), 200 (21.64), and 400 (48.14). Kenan had a lot of things on his plate as a sophomore and needs consistent training and better technique to improve as he should and avoid injury. Goggins, along with teammate Rahim Wooly, could provide a one-two punch in the short sprints that will lead to another Heps title in 2004. If he can stay healthy, look for Goggins to put his mark on the record books in what should be a stellar junior year.
