Biography
Before Cornell
Tan won a pair of state team championships and two state runner-up team finishes while being a part of three state champion relay teams. He twice was a part of a 4x400m relay team that won a state crown while also running on a 4x200m relay that finished first in the state. He also holds the school record with the 4x200m relay. Tan served as team captain for two seasons and earned all-region honors twice to go along with three all-area accolades.
Personal
Brian Jyhjye Tan is the son of Lihder Tan and Jessica Wang and has a younger brother. He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
