• Previously attended the United States Air Force Academy.
• Four-time Washington state track and field championship finalist in sprints and throws at Bellarmine Preparatory School.
• Two-time 4A SPSL League Champion in the javelin.
• Two-time team captain of his Bellarmine Preparatory School track and field team, twice being elected the team’s MVP.
• Also excelled on the gridiron, being named to the Tacoma News Tribune All-Area and All-State teams.
• Two-time 4A SPSL First-Team All-League selection for football at defense.
• Elected team captain of Bellarmine Preparatory School’s football team as well, starting all-four years of his career.

Personal

• Chase William Chandler is the son of Jeff and Erin Chandler and has two older siblings, a brother and a sister.
• Both his grandfather, Calvin Chandler I, and father played football for the University of Washington, with his grandfather competing on the team from 1959-63 and his father from 1985-89.
• His brother, Calvin Chandler II, was a member of Stanford’s football team from 2012-16.
• His maternal grandfather, Bill Tattersall, played football and men’s hockey at Michigan Tech from 1953-56.
• He is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
