Biography
At Cornell: Chris will be Cornell[apos]s top returning javelin thrower. He was an NCAA regional qualifier last year to go with his third straight IC4A qualification. Chris possesses all of the physical tools to throw at the next level. The only thing that separates him from the very best is improvement in the weight room and some minor technical adjustments. Chris could be the best javelin thrower in Cornell history. As a senior, it is Chris[apos]s turn to step it up. Look for some long throws from him in 2004.
Top Performance: javelin--201-8.
At Melrose: Chris was a dual-sport athlete at Melrose HS, as he combined wrestling and track. In his senior year, Chris finished third in the Massachusetts state championships with a personal best of 208-6, which ranked 16th in the country at the time.
