Ilogu's up-to-date results
As a Junior (2017-18)
• 16th in the triple jump at the IC4A Championships (43-11 3/4).
• Won the triple jump at the Greg Page Relays with a personal record (48-4).
• Tallied six top-10 finishes throughout the year.
As a Sophomore (2016-17)
• Competed in four indoor meets during his sophomore season, highlighted by a sixth place finish in the 300 at the Cornell Cabin Fever Invitational with a 37.34.
As a Freshman (2015-16)
• Showed versatility by competing in three meets for the Big Red and competing in three different events.
• Finished eighth overall at the Greg Page Relays in the triple jump (44’1.25”) and also ran the 60 meter dash at the Greg Page Relays and the Cornell Indoor Upstate Challenge.
• Also finished 12
th overall in the long jump at the April Cabin Fever Indoor Invitational.
Before Cornell
• A New Balance Nationals All-American in the shuttle hurdle relay, Ilogu was an accomplished high school athlete in a variety of events.
• He helped The Lawrenceville School track and field team to four Mid-Atlantic Prep Indoor and Outdoor and NJISSA Prep A Outdoor Championships.
• A captain his senior year, Ilogu was named First Team New Jersey All-Prep for the third consecutive season and First Team New Jersey All-Area.
• He holds personal bests of 6.83 seconds in the 55 meters, 11.07 in the meters and 22.04 in the 200.
• In the hurdles, he ran for 7.90 in the 55 hurdles and 56.3 in the 400 hurdles.
• He also competed as a jumper, with bests of 22 feet, 1 inch in the long jump and 43-8 in the triple jump.
• In addition, Ilogu was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and a National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist.
Personal
• Chukwudi Nicholas Ilogu is the son of Noel and Sandra Ilogu.
• He has a younger sister, Chisom, and a younger brother, Toby. Chukwudi is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
