Playing Career

As a professional athlete from 2008-12, Salucci qualified for the US Track and Field Championships twice and was a runner-up at the USA Club Cross Country Championships.

The 2007 Cornell graduate was a two-time Ivy League Heptagonal Champion for the Big Red. She holds three current and previous school records in cross country and track. Finishing the 5k in 17:14.9 in 2006 she holds the fastest Cornell time at New York’s Van Cortlandt Park. As part of a team, Salucci also holds the all-time record for the outdoor track DMR with Nyam Kagwima, Cameron Washington and Morgan Uceny (11:13.81, 2007).
 

Prior to Cornell

After graduating from Cornell with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences, Salucci went on to earn her Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina in 2010. After becoming a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, she worked at Consulting Support Services in Florida from 2012-16 and at HCR Manorcare in California from 2017-19.

While competing professionally, Salucci spent time as a Youth Mentor in Hanover, N.H. to promote physical activity in underprivileged communities from 2010-11. 

Salucci further developed her coaching abilities serving as a volunteer assistant coach while receiving her masters degree at UNC.
 

Personal

Salucci currently resides in the Ithaca area and works full-time at the Cayuga Wellness Center as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.
