Connor Horn's up-to-date results
As a Sophomore (2017-18)
• Did not compete in any track meets.
• Ran in one cross country meet this year, placing fourth overall and second for Cornell at the quad meet with Columbia, Brown and NYU.
As a Freshman (2016-17)
• Competed in two cross country meets in his first season.
• Finished 24th at the Spiked Shoe Invitational and followed that up with a breakout, 36th place finish at the Paul Short 8K Gold Race.
• On the track, had a solid rookie season of contributing to the Big Red distance squad that ended with his competing in the Ivy League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
• Indoors, started out with a win in the 3000 at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup (8:28.78) and went on to finish first in the mile at the Robert J. Kane Invitational (4:18.60) and second in the 3000 at the Marc Deneault Memorial.
• Was also a member of the third place Distance Medley Relay squad at the IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships.
• Outdoors, won the 5000 at the Transatlantic Series and ran a collegiate best in the event at the Penn Relays (14:28.10).
• Finished up the year with a 12th place finish in the 5000 at outdoor Heps.
Before Cornell
• Horn was named to the all-state cross country team in 2014 and was a two-time all-state 3200 meter honoree.
• He was also a part of a state championship 4x800 meter relay team in 2013 was also a member of the IHSA All-State Academic Team.
Personal
• Connor Patrick Horn is the son of Patrick and Julie Horn.
• He has a younger brother, Ryan, and a younger sister, Caitlin.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
