As a Sophomore (2019-20)
• Did not compete in any meets.
As a Freshman (2018-19)
• Competed in shot put for 10 indoor meets and in shot put and discus in four outdoor meets.
• Recorded 12 top-five placements, including a first-place finish at the Cornell Upstate Challenge (1/19) for a personal record.
• Finished fifth in the shot put at both the Indoor and Outdoor Ivy League Heps Championships (2/23-24 & 5/4-5).
• Placed 15th in discus throw at Outdoor Heps.
Before Cornell
• Mead was a four-year member of both the indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Christian Brothers Academy.
• Placed 13th at New Balance Nationals twice in the shot put.
• His personal best in shot put is 60’4.5, and for discus it’s 174’11.
Personal
• Daniel Gregory Mead is the son of Frank and Gloria Mead, and he has one sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
