Biography
At Cornell:
A transfer from Bates College, Krause showed last year in his first healthy full year of collegiate running that he has the talent and determination to contribute in a major way. In cross country, he dropped his VCP PR from 26:02 to 25:41 and was the squad’s 5th man at Heps. In track, Krause was an IC4A qualifier with a time of 14:34.02 for 5,000 meters. At Amity Regional: Krause finished eighth at the Connecticut state cross country meet as a senior. In track, he won the state open championship at 3,200 meters as a senior and placed second at the New England championships in the same event with his best time of 9:09.98. Personal: David Ryan Krause is the son of Thomas Krause and Pat Ryan-Krause, and he has an older brother.
