• Ran in four outdoor meets.
• Competed with a PR finish in the Bison Outdoor Classic (1500m, 3:59.21).
• Earned a second PR on the season with a second-place finish in the 800m at the Cornell Big Red Invitational (1:59.37).
• Ran in five indoor meets, including the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships.
• Finished 11th, in the prelims, with a PR time of 2:28.58 at the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships (3/1-3).
• Earned an ECAC slot with a first place at the Marc Deneault Invitational (2/16).
• Followed a season opener Mile PR of 4:23.06 at the Southern Tier Collegiate Invite (1/5), with a 3000m PR of 9:02.68 at the Cornell Upstate Challenge (1/18-19).
• Ran in four cross country meets.
• Opened the season with a 6k PR of 19:37.8 at the Bison Open on Aug. 31.
• Also achieved an 8k PR of 26:12.9 at the Princeton Cross Country Invitational on Oct. 12.
Prior to Cornell
• Ran cross country and track and field for Eleanor Roosevelt HS.
• Regional and county champion
• Ran to a third place finish in the 1600m run at the Maryland State Championships for indoor track and field.
• Ran to a sixth place finish in the 3200m run at the Maryland State Championships for outdoor track and field.

• Edward Kimutai Belsoi is the son of Elizabeth Belsoi.
• He has one older sister, Chepngeno, and one older brother, Cyrus.
• Sister, Chepngeno, will be graduating from Cornell in 2021.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
