As a Senior (2013-14)
Stancil continued to specialize in the long jump during the indoor season. He marked a season best 23’ 8.75” in a 1st place finish at the Greg Page Relays. He added a 4th place finish at the Nittany Lion Challenge and the 3rd place mark at the Robert J. Kane Invitational. Outdoors, Stancil tried his hand at the sprints in his final season. He wrapped his career at the Outdoor Heps, running a personal best 100 time of 10.89 in a prelim heat, eventually finishing 5th in the event.

As a Junior (2012-13)
Stancil continued to specialize in the long jump during his junior season, reaching the NCAA East Regional in Greensboro, N.C. thanks to a season- and personal-best jump of 24' 4 1/4" at the Big Red Invite in late April. Once there, Stancil placed 32nd with a jump of 22' 10 1/2". Earlier in the season, Stancil scored four points for the Big Red with a fourth-place finish at the Indoor Heps. He then came in seventh at the Indoor IC4As. Outdoors at the Penn Relays, he came in 11th as well, and his Outdoor Heps performance saw him place third to score six points for Cornell. Stancil also took seventh at the Outdoor IC4As, completing a season that saw him score points in all four major meets before NCAAs.

As a Sophomore (2011-12)
Stancil was a scorer for Cornell at Outdoor Heps, taking sixth place in the long jump with a distance of 22' 8 1/2". He also made it to the IC4As, taking 23rd in the same event.

As a Freshman (2010-11)
Stancil struggled with the technical nuances of high jumping but still bettered his high school personal record to 6’8.25". He scored in this event in at both the indoor and outdoor HEPS where he placed sixth and fourth, respectively, and also qualified for IC4A’s in high jump. Later in the season he long jumped at a meet and jumped 24’1". He went on to place fourth in long jump at HEPS while also qualifying for IC4A’s and being centimeters away from the NCAA East Regional.

Before Cornell
Stancil was a state champion high jumper in Florida where he jumped 6’8" to win the state title. He was also a two-year letterman in basketball and cross country.
