2025-26 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed in eight meets for the Big Red his freshman season marked by two podium finishes... took third in the mile in his very first collegiate indoor track meet wiht a time of 4:15.62... ended his season with a first place finish in the mile, improving his time with 3:57.01 at the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Three-time All-American and 10-time New Jersey state champion… qualified for national competition 11 times… named NJ Shore Conference Indoor/Outdoor Track & Field Distance Athlete of the Year in 2025… competed four years in track and field at Colts Neck High School, earning eight varsity letters… also ran four years of cross country, helping lead his team to a New Jersey state championship during his senior season.

PERSONAL
Hunter Charles Celkupa is the son of Jordan Celkupa, a 1990 graduate of Cornell University, and Linda Penwell-Celkupa… has one younger sister, Lena… born in New York, N.Y., and raised in Colts Neck, N.J.… he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
