At Cornell: Continuing to improve and become a top distance runner at Cornell, Daryn showed his promise by finishing fifth at the Heps in the steeplechase during his sophomore year. His time of 9:11 is ninth all-time at Cornell. He had an up-and-down season as a junior and narrowly missed placing again at the Heps despite improvements in his 5,000-meter times indoors and outdoors. Continuing to demand more from himself will allow him to be a consistent contributor during all three seasons. Strength is a key factor in his future success as he looks to finish big at the end of his Cornell career.

At Fordham: Daryn was the Bronx cross country champion and also earned Bronx and section titles in the 1,000 at Fordham Prep. A three-time first-team all-county pick, he captained the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams as a senior.
