Biography
At Cornell:
After missing all of 2007 with an injury, Lester is ready to return to his old form from his freshman year, where he dominated the league in the 60m dash with his first Heps Championship. He also finished third at the IC4A’s as a freshman in the same event. The former New York state champ sped to a Cornell record in the 60m dash of 6.79 as a sophomore, narrowly missing the NCAA provisional standard, as well as recording a 10.80 in the 100m into a stiff 2.5 headwind before having to shut it down in 2006. At Jamesville-DeWitt: Lester earned All-America honors after finishing fourth in the 60m at the national indoor meet. He was a four-year letter winner at Jamesville-DeWitt HS, where he was named freshman MVP in 2001 and team MVP in 2003 and 2004.Personal: Jordan Everett Lester is the son of Charlie Lester and Sharon Brangman, and he has a younger sister.
