As a Sophomore (2018-19)
• Threw javelin in four meets.
• Placed first at the Big Red Invitational (4/28).
• Notched a personal record, and tenth place, at the Ivy League Outdoor Heps Championships (5/4-5).
Prior to Cornell
• Four-time winner of the Throws Coach's Award (2016, 17)
• Also played football in high school: three-time varsity letterman, awarded the Edmund J McHugh Award for Team Service (2016).

• Joshua Alexander Johnson is the son of Benita Gholston.
• Has two younger siblings, a brother, Kyle, and a sister, Meghan.
