As a Freshman (2013-14)
Park participated predominately indoors for the Big Red in his first season, focusing on the 60 and 60 hurdles. He took home 1st place with a season best time of 8.40 in the 60 hurdles at the Ithaca College Quad Meet. He added a 4th place finish in the 60 with a season best 7.28 at the event. He wrapped up his indoor season at the Bomber Invitational, finishing 7th in the 60 hurdles.

Before Cornell 
Park competer on both the indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Newton South HS. He won the Massachusetts State Championship as well as the New England Championship in the 55/60-meter high hurdles. He also earned All-American honors in the event. In addition, he was All-State in the 110-meter hurdles. He captained both the indoor and outdoor teams his senior year. 

Personal
Jung Soo Park is the son of Cheon Ho Park and Young Ju Kim and has one sister, Sun Young Park, who is currently attending Northeastern University. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.Â
