As a Senior (2014-15)
Rayburn capped off his pole vault career at Cornell with a trip to NCAA Regionals after finishing fifth at IC4A's. He also took fifth at Outdoor Heptagonals and tied for second at Indoor Heptagonals.

As a Junior (2013-14)
Rayburn was a steady presence for the Big Red in the vault in his junior season. He got his indoor season going with a clearance at 15’ 9” to grab 3rd place at the Nittany Lion Challenge. He posted his indoor season best vault at the SPIRE NCAA Indoor Invitational, clearing at 15’ 10” for an 11th place finish. While the end of his indoor season was disappointing, he rebounded nicely outdoors. He posted a clearance at 15’ 9.25” to snag a 2nd place finish at the Stanford Invitational. He equaled his career best clearance of 16’ 2.75” to grab 3rd place at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational. The following week he repeated the feat at the Outdoor Heps, bringing home 2nd place honors in the process. He concluded the season at the IC4A’s, posting a 10th place finish with a clearance at 15’ 9”.

As a Sophomore (2012-13)
Rayburn continued to improve in his sophomore season, setting a new personal record and competing in big events. He was sixth at the Indoor IC4As in a personal-best 16' 2 3/4" to score three points for Cornell. Outdoors, he was fifth in the Eastern section of the pole vault at the Penn Relays and placed sixth at the Outdoor Heps to score a point for the Big Red.

As a Freshman (2011-12)
Rayburn scored points for Cornell in his first Indoor Heps, taking sixth place in the pole vault with a height of 15' 9". Earning a spot at the IC4As, he again scored points for Cornell when he finished seventh with a top height of 15' 9". At the Outdoor Heps, Rayburn just missed scoring when he reached 15' 3" and came in seventh.

Before Cornell
Rayburn was Central Coast Section Champion in the pole vault with a seasonal best of 15' 7” his senior year  at North Monterey County. He also won the Golden West Invitational, a positive comeback after a disappointing performance at the California State Meet.
