2025-26 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed in nine meets for the Big Red, including both Ivy Heps...took third in his very first collegiate Heptathlon with a score of 4543 points...went on to beat his personal best in the Heptathlon at the Ivy Outdoor Heps Championship with a score of 5922 points, beating his marks in six out of the ten events.

Two-time USATF Junior Olympic All-American (decathlon)… two-time USATF Youth Outdoor Championship All-American (110mH, decathlon)… Nike Outdoor & Indoor Nationals qualifier… two-time Arcadia Invitational medal winner (110mH, decathlon) … Stanford Invitational finalist (110mH)… two-time California State Championship qualifier (110mH, 4x400m) … broke 42-year-old school record and conference championship record (4x400m)… selected twice by coaches to serve on Track & Field Leadership Council… California Interscholastic Federation Senior Scholar-Athlete Award… graduated Maxima Cum Laude… AP Scholar with Distinction… Northern California Special Olympics Youth Volunteer of the Year.

Kyle Velasco is the son of Michael and Lauren Velasco and was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area… majoring in Industrial & Labor Relations with minors in Business and Law & Society.
