As a Sophomore (2017-18)
• Competed at five meets during the track season.
• Runner-up in the DMR (10:32.09) at the Upstate Challenge.
• Placed eighth in the mile (4:27.53) at the Kane Invitational and in the 3000 meters (8:56.58) at the Deneault Memorial Invitational.
• Finished 10th in the 3000 (8:45.69) at the Fastrack National Invite.
• During cross country campaign, took to the course three times, beginning with the quad meet with Columbia, Brown and NYU where he took 45th overall.
• Crossed the line 105th at the Penn State Open and cruised to a 10th-place showing at the Reif Memorial Run.
As a Freshman (2016-17)
• Competed in three cross country meets as a freshman, finishing 86th at the Spiked Shoe Invitational, 52nd at the Paul Short 8K Gold Race and a season-best ninth at the John Reif Memorial Run.
• Rookie season on the oval included four top 10 finishes.
• Indoors, was a part of the second place 4x800 meter relay team at the Greg Page Relays and finished sixth in the mile at the Robert J. Kane Invitational.
• Outdoors, finished second in the 5000 at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational.
Before Cornell
• Sullivan, a three-season captain his senior year, won the 2015 Indoor Track Divison IV state championship and the 2014 Western Mass Cross Country Championship while running at Northampton High School.
• He was named the 2015 MassLive.com Cross Country Runner of the Year and the 2015 Daily Hampshire Gazette Indoor Track Runner of the Year.
Personal
• Liam Gerard Sullivan is the son of Mark and Roberta Sullivan.
• He has two older sisters, Joni and Julia.
• Julia ran cross country and track for four years at American University.
• He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
