As a Senior (2019-20)
• Competed in five meets in the high jump and the 4x400 relay
• Recorded all but one results in the top-five.
• Notched fourth-place (4x400) and sixth-place (high jump) at Indoor Heps (2/29-3/1).
As a Junior (2018-19)
• Recorded 10 top-five placements in high jump.
• Placed first at the Southern Tier Collegiate Invite (1/5), the Upstate Challenge (1/19), and the Fastrack National Invite (2/8).
• Finished eighth at Indoor Helps (2/23-24)
• Notched a personal record at Outdoor Heps for a third-place finish (5/4-5)
• Earned 43rd at the NCAA DI East Region Prelims (5/23-25).
• Tied for the tenth-best jump in program history (outdoor high jump).
As a Sophomore (2017-18)
• Did not compete in any track meets.
As a Freshman (2016-17)
• Competed primarily in the high jump his freshman season, making an immediate impact on the Big Red jump squad.
• Finished in the top 10 in 11 of the meets he jumped in, with the lone exception being a solid 11th place finish at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships.
• Also finished first in three meets: Robert J. Kane Invitational (6’6.75”), Cornell Cabin Fever Invitational (6’6.75”) and the Ithaca College Tuesday meet (6’4.75”).
• Wrapped up his rookie year with a collegiate best clearance of 6’8” for fifth place at the Ivy League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Prior to Cornell
• Competed for Bethlethem Central High School track and field.

• Malick Mefomab Diomande is the son of Mamadou and Lucie Diomande.
• Has two older sisters, Sarah and Myriam.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
