As a Junior (2017-18)
• Did not compete in any track meets.
As a Sophomore (2016-17)
• Competed in eight meets for Cornell during his sophomore season, primarily in the sprints.
• Finished fourth in the 500 at the Bomber Invitational (1:08.96) and at the Cornell Cabin Fever Invitational, he finished fourth in the 800 (1:59.78) and eighth in the 300 (37.47).
• Was also a member of the third place Distance Medley Relay team at the IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships (9:53.04).
As a Freshman (2015-16)
• Competed in six meets for Cornell during his freshman campaign, including the Big Red Invitational where he finished sixth in the 400 in 50.46.
• Also helped the 4x400 meter relay team to a first place finish at the Marc Deneault Invitational and earned a fifth place finish in the 500 at the same meet with a 1:07.35.
Before Cornell
• As captain of the Acalanes High School track and field team in 2014-15, Comly was awarded the team’s Dedication and Leadership Award.
• With Comly as a sprinter and a key contributor in the relays, the team was league champions in 2013-14.
• Comly was also a scholar athlete and an Eagle Scout.
Personal
• Nicholas Andrew Comly is the son of Andy Comly and Carol Mann.
• He is a member of the fourth generation of Cornell attendees in his family, following in the footsteps of his father, grandparents and great grandmother.
• He has an older sister, Julia, and is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
