As a Senior (2017-18)
• Ranks eighth all-time at Cornell in the indoor triple jump (51-0 3/4).
• Had a breakout year as senior, scoring at both indoor and outdoor Heps and tallying four event wins in the triple jump.
• Placed fourth in the triple jump at Indoor Heps with a mark of 50-8 3/4.
• Finished fifth in the triple jump at Outdoor Heps with a personal-best leap of 49-6 1/4.
• Took third in the triple jump at the IC4A Outdoor Championships (49-0 1/4).
As a Junior (2016-17)
• Competed in six indoor meets for Cornell in his junior season.
• Set a personal best in the triple jump at the Robert J. Kane Invitational with a leap of 50’4.5” for first place.
• Also finished first at the Upstate Challenge (48’10.25”) and set a personal record in the long jump at the Greg Page Relays (19’6.25”).
As a Sophomore (2015-16)
• Continued to compete in the triple jump for the Big Red as a sophomore, and put up his best collegiate indoor mark to earn second place at the Southern Tier Open (47’ 6.5”) and then earned a fourth place finish at the Nittany Lion Challene (47’ 5.75”).
• Also earned a ninth-place finish at the Marc Deneault Invitational (46’ 1.5”).
As a Freshman (2014-15)
• Competed in the triple jump his freshman season, winning the event at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational with a jump of 47’ 11.75”.
• Also placed second indoors at the Southern Tier Open (44’ 10.75”) and the Beantown Challenge (45’ 2.25”).
• Rounded out an all-Big Red top three at the outdoor Upstate Challenge with a jump of 46’ 1.25” and also placed third at the outdoor Big Red Invitational (46’ 5.25”) and the indoor Kane Invitational (46’ 0.5”).
Before Cornell
• Airewele has the tools to have an immediate impact in the triple jump at Cornell.
• He was the Co-Captain of the Ithaca High Varsity Track and Field his senior season, helping the team to a Section IV Class A Championship.
• He posted the top triple jump of 46' 6" en route to earning the top spot at the section championships.
• He qualified as a finalist in the triple jump at the NY State Championships.
• He was named to the All Southern Tier Athletic Conference Team at the conclusion of the season.
Personal
• Oseoba Bolurin Airewele is son to Aigbokhan Airewele and Peyi Soyinka-Airewele.
• He has two sisters; an older sister Ebolutalese, and younger sister Yolore.
• Ebolutalese Airewele '14 attended Cornell and participated on Women's Track and Field team from 2010-2014.
