As a Senior (2014-15)
Belcher competed primarily in the middle distances, placing third in the 1000m and helping the 4x800 relay team to a win at the Beantown Challenge. He finished seventh in the 1000 at IC4A's. 

As a Junior (2013-14)

Despite competing in just three cross country races this season, Belcher was able to take over a minute off his five-mile time, first running a 27:14.5 at the season-opener against Army then running a 26:06.8 at the Reif Memorial Run in October. He also ran at the Princeton Invitational, where he finished 197th.

Belcher had a busy track season in his third year for the Big Red. At the Indoor IC4A’s he posted a career best 1000 meter time of 2:26.19 in a prelim heat, eventually finishing 8th in the event. Belcher posted a career best 1500 meter time of 3:50.83 at the Bison Outdoor Classic. His best showing of the season came at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational where he posted a personal best 800 time of 1:54.41 to take home 1st place.

As a Sophomore (2012-13)
Belcher was an indoor track runner for the Big Red in 2012-13, taking part in mid-distance races from December through March. He ran a 4:20.71 mile at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational in early February and also completed 1000 meters in 2:29.31 at the Indoor ECACs to place 16th.

As a Freshman (2011-12)
Belcher took 42nd place at the season-opening Army-Binghamton tri-meet, scored 43rd at the Colgate Invitational, finished 111th at thte Paul Short Invitational and ended his year in 37th at the Yellowjacket Invitational.

Before Cornell
Belcher was a high-level runner in the private school NEPSTA league, winning all-New England Honors in cross country all four years of high school. His junior year he came in second in the 3000 at the NEPSTA championship meet in track, and in his senior year he won NEPSTA New Englands in cross country. In track he had a breakthrough season, setting personal records in the 800, 1500, and 3000. At the championship meet he won the 1500, 3000, and was a part of the winning 4x400 team.
