Andrievsky's Big Red career began with a 33rd-place finish at the season-opener against Army, where he ran the Moakley Course in 27:25.3. His best finish of the year may have come at the Reif Memorial Run, also held at the Moakley Course, where he placed 18th with a time of 26:41.5.
Andrievsky continued to develop during his debut season on the track with a solid showing in both the indoor and outdoor seasons. He ran a season best mile time of 4:33.14 to place 13
th at the Bomber Invitational. He also marked a personal best 3000 meter time of 8:58.39 to place 10
th at the Deneault Memorial Cornell. His best finish of the season came at the Cortland Classic Invitational where he took home 2
nd place in the 5000 meter with a time of 15:47.92.
Before CornellAndrievsky was a member of both the cross country and track and field teams at Webster Thomas. He set the school record at 1600 meters and as part of the 4x800-meter relay - both in 2013. He was named Second Team All-County following the 2012 cross country season and Second Team All-County in track for 2013.Â
PersonalSasha Andreivich Andrievsky is the son of Andrei Andrievsky and Natalia Andrievskaia and has a younger brother, Anton. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
