As a Senior (2014-15)
Competing in the middle distance, Roemer finished first in the 800m at Bucknell's outdoor meet and set a personal best at the Beantown Challenge indoors. He also competed in relays, helping his 4x800 team to a win at the indoor Greg Page Relays.

As a Junior (2013-14)
The junior transfer from DIII Macalester College made an immediate impact in the middle distances for the Big Red. After feeling his way through a few early meets he found his niche in the 800 and 4x4 relay teams. He took home 4^th place in the 800 and helped the 4x4 to 3^rd place at the Robert J. Kane Invitational. The following week at the Ithaca College Quad Meet he took home 1^st place in the 800 and again helped the 4x4 to a 3^rd place finish. He posted an indoor best 800 time of 1:56.58 in a 2^nd place finish at the Bomber Invitational. Outdoors, he marked a career best 800 time of 1:54.64 in a 2^nd place finish at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational.

Before Cornell 
Roemer transfer to Cornell from Macalester College with a personal best  and Macalester school record of 1:22.71 for 600 meters indoors. He earned All-MIAC honors in the 600 and 800 meters indoors as well as at 800 meters outdoors. He was named to the dean's list every semester at Macalester.

At Kimberton Waldorf, Roemer played basketball and lacrosse. He was also his class valedictorian. 

Personal
The son of Thomas and Veronika Roemer, Sebastian is one of four children. He has a brother, Benny, and two sisters, Matthea and Alexandra. He is a student in the College of Arts and Sciences.
