Biography
At Cornell
After breaking through in the 400 hurdles in the spring of his freshman year and qualifying for the IC4A’s, Wexler struggled his sophomore year and prepared for a stellar junior campaign. It seemed to come together at the Heptagonal Championships, only to end with a fall on the ninth hurdle. As he enters his senior year, he hopes to help the Big Red once again win the Ivy league and beyond.
Before Cornell
Wexler was a six-time all-county honoree while winning a state championship in 2007. He was a member of the NSIC national championship 4x800m relay team. Wexler also played four years of soccer and two of basketball.
Personal
Steven Patrick Wexler is the son of Brian and Dorothy Wexler and has an older brother and a younger sister. He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
