Before Cornell
Campbell earned All-County honors in seven seasons during his high school career.  He set school records in the indoor mile and the outdoor 1600, and was part of the school record 4x800m, 4x1600m, and DMR relay teams.  He competed in four state championships.  As a senior, Campbell was county champion in the 1600.
