As a Junior (2013-14)Flood had a solid season running the middle distances for the Big Red. He took home 3
rd place in the 500 at the Greg Page Relays. Running the 600 for the first time in his collegiate career, he posted a 14
th place finish with a time of 1:24.16 at the Nittany Lion Challenge. He posted a season best 50.08 in the 400 to grab 2
nd place at the Robert J. Kane Invitational. He marked a season best 500 time of 1:04.67 at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine. He took home 1
st place in the 400 at the Bomber Invitational. Flood wrapped up his junior season with a 3
rd place finish in the 500 at the Deneault Memorial.
As a Sophomore (2012-13)The highlight of Flood's sophomore season was competing at the Indoor IC4As in two events. He was on the Big Red's DMR team, helping Cornell place 18th. He then ran the 500 as an individual where he came in 14th. Flood had personal records in the 400, 500 and 800 during the season.
His 400 PR was by a full second, and his 500 time was two seconds better than his freshman season.
Before CornellFlood was an all-state athlete in the 400, 4x400, and 4x800 relays. He posted a personal best of 49.39 in the 400m. Flood also played football as a running back and linebacker.
