Biography
At Cornell
Cardi served as coxswain of the second varsity eight during her junior season, helping the crew to a fourth place finish at the 2012 EARC Sprints and a second place finish in the Petite Finals at the 2012 IRA Championship. During the regular season, she helped the second varsity eight to victories over Georgetown, UCSD, Syracuse, Navy, Princeton, Yale and Penn.
At The Baldwin School
Cardi served as coxswain at the Baldwin School for all four years of her prep career. She was also a member of the Bachelors Barge Club Youth Program. Cardi also played squash for two years.
Personal
Alessandra Ilaria Cardi is the daughter of Gaetano Cardi and Rossana Argo-Cardi and she has one older sister and one younger brother. Cardi is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
