Riley lettered four times at Noble & Greenough School, serving as team captain during his senior season. That year, he helped the men’s four with coxswain crew take third place at the national championships. He also lettered twice in squash.

Charles Madison Riley IV is the son of Charles and Laura Riley and he has a younger brother and a younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
