Cornell University Athletics

As a sophomore (2018-19)
• Competed in three regattas as a sophomore, primarily rowing on the second Varsity eight.
• Rowed in the seventh seat on the second Varsity eight at the Las Vegas Invitational, helping the boat cross the finish line first in 5:57.60 to defeat Oregon State and Marist and guide the Big Red to a team win over Oregon State.
• Also competed on the fifth Varsity four boat at the Cornell Autumn Classic.

As a freshman (2017-18)
• Rowed in both the third and fourth varsity eight during the 2017-18 season.
 
Prior to Cornell
• Rowed with the Redwood Scullers/Stanford Junior Rowing Center.
• Named to the 2017 United States Under 23 National Team and helped the men's quadruple sculls to a 14th place finish at the 2017 World Rowing Under 23 Championships.
• Won gold medals in the junior men’s varsity quad, the junior men’s varsity double, and the junior men’s single at the 2017 Shamrock Invitational. 
• Earned a silver medal in the men’s junior single at the 2016 Head of the Charles.
• Took home gold medals in the junior men’s varsity quad (2015), the junior men’s double (2016) and the junior men’s single (2016) at the Head of the Oklahoma.
• Won the junior men’s varsity quad at the 2016 SW Regional Championships and earned silver in the junior men’s double.
• Rowed in the men’s varsity quad as a novice at the 2015 USRowing Junior National Championships.
• Played football for two seasons and basketball for one season at Menlo School.
 
Personal
• Doran Scott Finley is the son of Kurt Finley and Kathryn Jurosky and he has one older sister.
• Named an Eagle Scout in 2015.
• Enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
