At Cornell
An extremely hard worker, Middendorf rowed at the US Rowing Midwest Development Camp during the summer of 2009.
At St. Albans School
Middendorf earned four varsity letters at St. Albans School and was named the team’s Rower of the Year as a senior. A Washington Post All-Metropolitan Team selection in 2007, he also won a silver medal at the MidAtlantic Erg Sprints that same year. Middendorf was invited to the Junior National Team Selection Camp in 2007 after winning a gold medal at the 2006 USRowing Summer Nationals Junior A Regatta in the men’s eight with coxswain. He also rowed for the Thompson’s Boat Center and was named the team’s Rower of the Year in 2007.
Personal
Gabriel Boone Middendorf is the son of Chris Middendorf. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
