Biography
At Cornell
Junior (2015-16): Rodriguez opened his junior season in the varsity four that defeated Harvard, before moving into the fifth varsity eight. At the 2016 Eastern Sprints, he helped the crew to a fourth place finish.
Sophomore (2014-15):Â During his sophomore season, Rodriguez was a member of the fourth varsity eight that won the gold medal at the 2015 ECAC Sprints. He also rowed in the varsity four with coxswain at the 2015 IRA Regatta that struggled with injury and finished in 12th place.Â
Feshman (2013-14):Â In his first season with the Big Red, Rodriguez rowed in the fourth varsity eight that finished in sixth place overall at the 2014 Eastern Sprints.
Prior to Cornell
Rodriguez lettered four times in rowing at Edwin O. Smith high school and was also a member of Riverfront Recapture Inc. He also lettered three times in swimming, serving as team captain as a senior, and played soccer for two seasons.

Personal
Gabriel Andrew Rodriguez is the son of Orlando and Laura Rodriguez and he has one older sister. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
