At St. Paul’s School
MacGregor rowed for four years, earning one varsity letter at St. Paul’s School. He helped the varsity-8 to a third place finish at the 2005 NEIRA championships.

John Strathern MacGregor IV is the son of John and Cyntiah MacGregor and he has one sister. His grandfather Theodore Jaschar graduated from Cornell. MacGregor is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
