At Cornell
One of the strongest members of the team, Siegel was a member of the second varsity-8 crew that earned the silver medal at the 2010 Eastern Sprints before finishing in fifth place at the IRAs.
At Bethesda-Chevy Chase HS
Siegel rowed for four years at Bethesda-Chevy Chase high school, serving as team captain as a senior. He also rowed for the Thompson Boat Center, helping the men’s four with coxswain earn a gold medal at the USRowing Club Nationals in 2007. Named by the Washington Post to the All-Met Scholastic Rowing first team in 2007, Siegel also won a silver medal for the Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints that same year.

Mark David Siegel is the son of Matthew and Elisa Siegel. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
