At Cornell
Sophomore (2015-16): Chuchra competed in one race during his sophomore season, rowing with the varsity four B at Harvard.

Freshman (2014-15): In his first season, Churchra coxed the first freshmen eight that had the Big Red’s  best finish of the day at the 2015 IRA Regatta, advancing to the Grand Finals and crossing the line fifth overall. He also coxed the first freshmen eight that took fourth overall at the 2015 ECAC Sprints.
 
Prior to Cornell
Chuchra earned three varsity letters at Phillips Exeter Academy, serving as the varsity coxswain during his final two seasons. He earned a silver medal in the Junior A 8+ and a bronze medal in the Intermediate Men's 8+ at the 2013 Club Nationals with the US Jr. National High Performance Team. Chuchra also won a gold medal in the Junior B 8+ and Junior B 4+ with Penn AC at the 2012 Club Nationals. He also took a silver medal in the Under 16 8+ and the Under 16 4+ at the 2012 Canadian Henley Royal Regatta with Penn AC. Chuchra also played football and basketball for two seasons.
 
Personal
Nikhil Raj Chuchra is the son of Ashvani Chuchra and Sheena Bhasin and he has one brother. He is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
