2025-26 | SENIOR SEASON
Primarily raced with 2V8+ during spring season, garnering four of his five wins with crew ... opened spring season with first-place finish against Drexel in 2V8+ (March 28) ... also placed first against Boston University (April 11) with 3V8+ ... other 2V8+ victories came against Oregon State (May 1), Holy Cross (May 2), and in petite finals at Eastern Sprints (May 17) ... raced out of bow seat with second 4+ at Head of the Charles (Oct. 19), placing eighth in event ... earned Empacher-IRCA Scholar-Athlete Award.

2024-25 | JUNIOR SEASON
Split time between 4V8+ and 5V8+ crews ... began spring portion of season racing out of bow with 4V8+ before moving to No. 5 seat of 5V8+ ... logged one first-place finish with both crews, defeating Drexel (March 29) with 4V8+ and Penn (May 3) with 5V8+.

2023-24 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Appeared in first two races of season before missing remainder of campaign ... aided 4V8+ to first-place finish against Harvard at Robinson Cup (April 6) ... also raced with 1V4+ at Goes Trophy (April 20) ... rowed with 3V8+ in fall finale against Dartmouth and Syracuse (Nov. 4).

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Earned two varsity letters on the Christian Brothers Academy rowing team ... received the Hammer Award during his senior year for being the fastest rower.

Shane R Gazdus is the son of John Gazdus and Kelly Ryan-Gazdus, and has an older sister ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
